Switching & transitions
Our transitions team helps to streamline your transition process for the smoothest experience.
- 01
Your board decides
We present to your board if you’d like us to. The board votes and signs a management agreement.
- 02
You give notice
You provide a 30-day cancellation notice to your current company (or what their contract requires), by email or in writing. Make sure to read their contract for compliance.
- 03
We collect your records
We’ll collect your member listing, fiscal information, vendor insurance certificates, rules and regulations, prior tax returns, etc.
- 04
Autograph the signature cards
Your president and treasurer sign to make it official.
- 05
Open the new account
A $5,000 check payable to the association opens the account to continue paying utility bills during the handover.
- 06
Owners are uploaded
Every homeowner goes into the management software, gaining individual portal access.
- 07
We schedule the year
We build an annual calendar with your board and put every meeting on it.
- 08
We contact your owners
A welcome letter goes to every homeowner with contact details and payment options.
- 09
Management begins when funds transfer
We transfer the funds to the new account and take over active management of your community.
We don’t bill for the transition work itself. The only charge at changeover is the one-time set-up fee of $10 per owner, listed with every other charge on our Pricing page.
